Message	check the clearance between your shifter and your driveshaft. This can be done by removing the nut on the rubber shifter bracket. Let it drop till the bottom of the shifter touches the driveshaft. I bet there isn't much clearance, particularly with the Z1 one piece. They sometimes weld the balancing weight right where the shifter is located.
